Why not:
Synchronize extensions ? !
Synchronize homepage settings ?
Synchronize Bookmarks settings ?
Synchronize themes ?
Choose what you want to synchronize ?And:
Delete the bookmarks directly by double click on the heart or something? The developers are anti-human per se.

@penzaipot, I actually quite like other humans, and I think my colleagues do too.
Synchronization is hard to get right, so we're introducing features step-by-step, making sure that their implementations are complete and bug-free before trying to introduce everything and the kitchen sink (or sync?).
We got bookmark synchronization in Opera 28, Speed Dial and open tab synchronization in Opera 29, and who knows what the future will bring? Actually you can see for yourself: if you download Opera Developer from http://blogs.opera.com/desktop , you can see that synchronization of typed history, settings sync and password sync are under development, and will appear soon in Opera's stable versions.

Thanks for the info avi! Some people have no appreciation for or understanding of the work that's needed to bring features and updates to Opera.

I had a problem with synchronisation, after I synchronised the mac opera browser with the windows operada browser and the android opera browser the speed dial messed up... I had to reconfigure it again. Opera's software engineers should take a look at that, and possibly consider like if there is no change on the default speed dial configuration, nothing of the default speed dial configuration should de synchronised. There should be a bit flag identifying which are the default configuration.

@avl, I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just want to phrase it as not right.
Think of the user experiences, Opera is a great software, and I like it.
However, I'm suggesting to add more functions, for example:
Creating a final user interface, which manages the item that you need to synchronize can be very helpful, both for users and developers.
Anti-human means you guys are not fully think though (functions, user experiences etc.). I'm feeling like I'm using a prototype, which made me really disappointed.
I might leave Opera for a while, until the next update, or the update after, or ... -

Basically @penzaipot you ignore the comment from @avi that says 'Synchronization is hard to get right, so we're introducing features step-by-step' and 'helpfully suggest' they introduce your specific requirements or you'll stop using Opera. Opera have been busy lately introducing quite a few new features and even though there are features I'd like, I appreciate what they are doing and wont resort to calling them names. Also why should your suggestions get prioritisation above all the work Opera are doing?
