Opera starts blank since verion 30 stable

lando242 last edited byDownload 29 offline installer. Disconnect from the Internet. Install it. Disable auto-update for Opera. Wait until they put out a fixed release of 30 before updating.

avl Opera last edited byI've tried compatiblity mode too. I have a Sony Vaio laptop with i5 cpu, 8GB ram, nvidia gt330 graphics card, win 8.1 x64. i can post screenshots to if needed 
 Any advice?Yes, can you post a screenshot? Does Opera Developer (from http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/ ) work for you or is it broken in the same way?

elvisz last edited byI'm at work right now. Opera is working fine with win7 sp1 x32. as i can see everyone is on x64 with this problem. I dont have a screenshot right now but others from the forum posted this: http://i.imgur.com/CZQJHPQ.png It looks the same for me too..

 can you please try to run Opera, via command line parameters aslauncher.exe --with-feature:"mse-h264-support"=off and let us know if the issue still exist? launcher.exe exist in the installation folder.

bkazmierczak last edited by adminit does fix the issue, discussion ongoing in https://forums.opera.com/topic/10211/opera-won-t-load-draw-show-any-page/28. Seems we have Windows N issue.

elvisz last edited bythank you!!!! this seeems to resolve the problem. i just tried on a brand new toshiba laptop, same problem after clean win and opera install; but with the parameters: launcher.exe --with-feature:"mse-h264-support"=off its working again
