Opera, Proxy, System Requirements

I need a simple browser for use on my MBP.
My requirements:
-
Use under 10.6.
-
Proxy functionality.; i.e. it must allow me to easily enable/disable the browser's proxy functionality independently of the system's. I proxy my web traffic to a host. But I must have a browser I can bypass that with; too many WiFi sources [airports, fats food, etc.] require ack'ing a splash screen. [PITA!!!!]
-
Ability to delete cookies. I now have 12.16 but have never found any way to delete all the cookies.
-
Usable on Google GPF, Doc's etc.
Can Opera fill this bill?
I've searched but can not find any mention of system requirements for whatever the current version is. Pointers?

I think Opera fails your first requirement: Opera requires OS X 10.7 or newer. The most recent version that still works on OS X 10.6 is Opera 25 AFAIR, perhaps 26 (feel free to try).
You can download older versions here:

Thanks for the data & link. I'm downloading some versions now.
I looked at the http://www.opera.com/download/requirements/ link but it's only talking about the current version.... -

Sigh....25.0.1614.71 runs but then flunks #2; it has no proxy I can use independently.
