Can't listen to BBC radio

Often when using my PC I like to listen to BBC radio at the same time however when I go to the BBC website using Opera all I ever get is the 'Sound of Silence' 'Please try again later' this is clearly a problem with Opera because if I use Firefox instead the radio works fine. My problem is that I switched to using Opera because I was having constant problems with Firefox that made it almost unusable so although I can listen to the radio using Firefox I would rather not. When I do use Firefox it always takes a very long time to get started usually more than a few minutes so I often miss the start of what I want to listen to. While listening to the radio with Opera doesn't work at all watching BBC TV works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions I have tried to find an answer on the BBC website but I have had no success so far, so I thought I'd try here.

Clean out your cookies. Also, if you are having problems on a website with more then one browser (even if its not the same problem) it could mean you are having deeper issues. Maybe download MalwareBytes and AdwCleaner and run some scans and see if they find anything.

You can download some stream files - playlist files - to listen to the radio OFF browser. You can get some from Vincent Lo's site or some other place.
