how to adjust speed and bookmark icon sizes?

Fresh install, the speed dial and bookmark icons are 'stuck' at the default 4 across size.
How to change/adjust to say six or seven across or (better) can this be made flexible based on the resolution of the monitor or size of the Opera tab/windows?

Ok, it's non-obvious, but using the zoom +- keys takes care of this. O remembers the last view of the bookmark and SD pages.
Maybe document this somehow, put +- buttons on the pages, etc.

Type Alt+P, click somewhere in the window that opens so you don't have a cursor in the search box then enter the Konami Code (google has it). This will unlock power user features. Be careful as some of these can really tweak your system. Then search for 'Maximum number of columns' in the search box and change it.

Thanks, kuhlmanck - I had a similar problem and your suggestion solved it right away.
You are correct, howver, that this is not an obvious thing, so maybe Opera should do something to make people aware of this - you may change the size by mistake and then you are stuck ...
