Opera 28 + Xmarks broken?

Xmarks seems to be broken for me on O28. Xmarks is only picking up bookmarks in the bookmarks bar, not the 'manager'.

This is not a Opera issue, this is an Xmarks issue. You should contact them about it.

Actually, it is an Opera issue after all. I contacted Xmarks support and they said they can't fix this since Opera hasn't released any bookmarks API that would allow them to support Opera. That's why Xmark doesn't list Opera as a supported browser.
So, Opera needs to publish an API!
