Is it not possible to make Opera open a new tab if ANY link 'clicked' - I know I can drag to address bar etc but this is just a pain and also continuously forget and end up overwriting tab..

I usually use control-click which opens a link in a new tab.

You can middle click the link and that will open it in a new tab in most cases. Some websites are coded to prevent that though.

It is called, Right click opens the link in a new tab.

It's easier for me than middleclicking, or control left clicking (which I often forget to do).

Slow right click click on a link to get the context menu.
