Question About Bookmarks

I'm pretty satisfied with O30 on my Win7 laptop. All my bookmarks were imported, I have my Bookmarks Bar enabled, and copied the imported bookmarks from O12 to the Bookmarks Bar, and I have access to ALL those bookmarks in fine fashion.

My question lies in backing up those bookmarks, I routinely RAR the Opera Software folder that contains all my profile, including my bookmarks. In that RAR is a file file simply entitled "Bookmarks" (no extension).

So let's say I somehow have lost my Bookmarks, how would I import THAT unRARed file so that the "lost bookmarks" would be replaced?? Can I simply add a HTML extension to that file and import it that way...or is there a simple way to EXPORT my current Bookmarks that will be saved and be importable??

Just copy the backup file across as it is.
There are no extensions on quite a few of the files that Opera uses, and that's as intended.
