With Win 8.1 I use four browwers - IE11, FF38, O30, 12.17 being the main one. Even though the language in settings in O12 is en-us, for the past two or three weeks the information link URL for a specific Windows update shows en-au or sometimes Korean or another language if that update is focused on another part of the world. The language setting is en-us in Windows, Opera cache is cleared regularly and when I change the default browser to one of the others, the page opens to en-us. Any ideas?

Try to disable Opera Turbo. Perhaps Microsoft might be thinking you're far away because of Turbo servers.

lando, in Windows Update > View Update History, click on any installed update and a box comes up with a link to more information. Click on that and I get the URLs above.

                rafaelluik, No Opera Turbo here.
