      Hi,

When trying to play YouTube videos, after 1-2 minutes Opera become extremely slow, the video lag alot and when I try to close the tab it take 30-45 seconds to close, making Opera (12.16) use high CPU usage.

Also, it's not just playing videos, it also do that on playlist/search/channel/..., basically everything on YouTube.com. Just the main page YouTube.com take about 50% CPU while on the page.

It's been doing that for a few weeks.

I'm using Opera 19 and I'm facing the same problem as the OP but this problem doesn't occur when watching music videos which is weird..

Have you checked to see if your Adobe Flash is up to date? Go to the Adobe website and try to find out. If not, download the latest version in the Opera browser.

Here's a similar type site. Daily Motion.com. Do you have the same problem there?

Also, do you have the same problem in Opera 20 (if you have it on your computer?) How about on another browser, if you have any on your computer (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)

What Operating system are you using? Could the problem be the speed of your computer, or the weakness of a wifi signal?
