Hi @ozdrdj, if you want, then you can try the "Homepage in New Tab" extension

l33t gave you the short version: the longer explanation is basically that Opera doesn't really have a homepage. You can set a start page or /pages/ which should be loaded when you start it, but in vanilla mode (without extensions) that's all they're good for.

In a sense you can say that the speed dial screen (control-shift-s) is the real "home page" in Opera. And that brings us to l33t's suggestion

Ahhhh, I see. I just miss my Home Button. Perhaps a suggestion for future releases.
