Opera Mail My Buttons

Going to Opera Mail/Tools/Appearance/Buttons there is a My Buttons section.
Is there anyplace where there are custom buttons available? Or instructions on how to create one?

I don't use Opera Mail, but the My Buttons section is a carry-over from when the Mail software was a component of the old Presto Opera browser. That browser contained a pre-loaded population of function-buttons in that section, and custom ones could also be added; those buttons could then be copied to the toolbars. When Mail was issued as a stand-alone program, not all of the browser inter-connections and control panels were removed or suppressed, but someone else here will have to tell you whether or not there's any way to install/employ buttons. If there isn't, you could conceivably just install Opera 12.17 and use only its Mail portion, which has the same innards as Opera Mail. That way you could at least make use of the buttons and button featuring still present in that software. Realize that Opera Mail is not being updated or materially supported any more either, so you don't lose anything that way by employing the full browser implementation for your eMail.

You can still add buttons. Use a button-creating tool to create the opera:/ URL and send the URL to yourself in an email. Then, in the received message, click the URL to add it to your custom buttons.
Goto here and download button_creator.html and "How to Create Toolbar Buttons - Browser - Opera Wiki.mhtm" and load them locally. That will show you how to create them. Also look at http://operawiki.info/CustomButtons.

The best button generator for Opera is QuHno's generator: http://quhno.internetstrahlen.de/myopera/buttonator/buttonator.html
