Default Wikipedia search not in english

Hello!
I use Opera 26.0.1656.24 on OS X 10.9.5.
I'd like the "w" search engine shortcut to use english version of wikipedia. Using "w" currently gives results in Hungarian (I'm located in Hungary).
I found this thread mentioning the same issue: https://forums.opera.com/topic/272/no-way-to-change-default-search-keywords-19-0-1326-9 but that thread is a year old. Has nothing been done since then to address this?
Thanks!

Many people do want the Wikipedia in their own language, so which ever way it is set, someone will be unhappy.
No doubt you saw from the other thread that you can create a new custom search engine with a different letter, perhaps e for encyclopedia or English Wikipedia. Initially it may feel different but after using it for a short time it will feel totally natural.
To create a new English entry like this, first to to the English Wikipedia homepage, right click in the search box on the top right-hand corner of the page and choose
Create Search Engine…
. In the dialog that appears, add your selected keyword (or letter) and clickCreate

Adding an opera://settings entry for this would be fantastic. Keep it as is, and for those who don't like it...
Well, "we" it is...
Thanks!
