Can't download files

I just installed the latest version of Opera and am now unable to download any files. I have tried from multiple sites. Any Help Greatly Appreciated.

How do you see that you cant download? Please explain it to me.

Did you see the downloadmanager? Please hit Ctrl J and you will see your downlods.

When I click on a link to download something nothing happens.

I don't have the direct link now...They were from Filemonster and Keep2Share Today.

May be security software (Antivirus, Desktopfirewall) on your PC is blocking downloads?

How to fix Google Chrome Blank page(s) problem.

Solution 2*****: Disable Chrome’s “Sanbox” security feature.
Attention: Sandbox is a security feature that included in Chrome browser to protect you when you surf the web.

I got it working by adding the -no-sandbox switch
At “Shortcut” tab, go at the “Target” field and at the end of the existing command type: -no-sandbox

(search for 'chrome blank pages')
