I really do not understand why Opera mail does not permit to paste images from clipboard into the writing area.
In some emails, it matters how you display your message, not just conveying the bytes to the recipient.

Paste and simple resize is all it's needed : select the part of the image with a photo viewer, CTRL C to load that to clipboard and CTRL V to paste it in your email and continue writing.

Keep it simple, Opera, but this simple is TOO SIMPLE.

Well, adding that functionality is a 1 hour job for a professional programmer.
So, basically, "free of charge" for a firm like yours.
          Think about it, Opera.

Oh yes! Working for free, good joke.

But you can hire as a opera internship and reprogramm Opera Mail. Do it! Make it! You make us happy!

You can use Thunderbird, its from a "We are working for Nothing"-community. There you can spend all your time forcing programmers to fullfill all your wishes. 😉

Well, first that programmer would need to convince his/her superiors to allow reopen a dead project. It would take more than an hour for sure.
If succeeds, (s)he would have to wait for the infrastructure to be (re)created, what may take days or even weeks. Only after that the programmer would be able to start working on something.

And after creating a new build you would need someone to test it before distributing it, what demands an infraestructure too.

So it's not that simple and not "free of charge".

Yup, and it will never be resurrected anymore.

This comment made me laugh... Mozilla programmers that pulls strings are payed from funds/donations/various gadgets sells. Those who work for free are the only open source minded programming monkeys that download source code and search for errors in their "favorite" software which is made by the payed ones 😛 And moreover, there is a lot more of them there, than in company itself, but at least they bring more innovation than payed folks...

OK, laugh. Comparing Opera Mail to Thunderbird is like comparing a Lanz bulldog to a Mercedes Benz.
