Regarding bookmarks in Opera 26

Firstly, before I get to the topic. What the hell is going on with the forum? I see what seems like an endless amount of spam... Doesn't anyone deal with it? I never have seen spam this bad on ANY forum.

Now, to the topic.

I was very happy to see that the bookmark system has been improved, but it is not all that it should be. You cannot ctrl click to select multiple bookmarks and instead have to hover over each one, wait for the menu to pop up and then move the mouse and click the select button. That is a big time waster when you are dealing with many bookmarks, we need to be able to control click like any other browser including the old (best in my opinion) opera browser.

Then, yes you can search and yes the sorting is exactly how I would want it (new bookmarks first), however you cannot choose how you want to order them. This is an important feature which is as yet still missing.

But from what I am seeing so far, it is instilling some hope in me regarding Opera, with exception of the forum debacle I just mentioned.

So good work dev team and I hope that you soon can iron these things out.

EDIT:

Actually I just imported my thousands of bookmarks and when I enter one of my main folders everything is sorted with new things at the bottom. Very disappointing. Including the lag still when dealing with this many bookmarks.

I never have seen spam this bad on ANY forum.

They get hammered by spawn several times a day. In the span of a few minutes the whole board fills up. Its usually dealt with pretty quickly though. You must have just showed up at a bad time. As for bookmarks, yes, its still very much a work in progress. If you'd been here just a few versions back you would have had no bookmarks at all. The feature itself is only a few months old so continue to expect improvements.
