Any way to startup O with the bookmark manager showing on startup/default?

The bookmark page's address is opera://bookmarks/. Go into options and set "On Startup" to "Open a specific page or set of pages". You will then need to set the address I mentioned as one of the pages you would like to open. That should do it.

Are you talking about the Speed Dial? If so, just set opera:startpage as one of the startup tabs.

In the same way? You mean you want to open many tabs when you start the browser? If so, just add more entries to the list I mentioned. If not, then I don't understand what you are asking and will need more clarification.
