No, customisation is not possible.

All Chromium-based browsers are well-known for poor customizability.
Anyway, customization of the browser UI is just "too geeky" for an average user. -

Indeed, he did. And you tjail and stng, did not need to add demeaning comments regarding Opera and those who choose to use it AND like it. Instead you simply thought you were being clever by giving asinine answers rather than simply responding to his question. Look... if Opera Blink is so average and designed for such average users, why do you both hang about here? Why not just go somewhere else... like a Chrome forum OR a Firefox forum?

Most of my posts here were questions and suggestions for the devs.
Unfortunly all I see here is sillence.
you can't see on what are they working on, what you can expect in future, what are priorites to implement in new versions - nothing.
Im quite new on the forum but just realized how it works.
Mostly It's the wall for crying, becasue most of ppl asking about giving back some old features and rest of users have to tell them truth.
Maybe we would get any feedback from devs finally? All I need is simple queue things which will be added in future or not.
Get the point @leushino I'm still giving the Blink chane but the way of one-way discussion make ppl annoyed, and almost every new forum user signing in to complain.

Anyway, customization of the browser UI is just "too geeky" for an average user. No, not all Chromium based browsers lack customization abilities, I've mentioned the best one for that recently BUT, Opera is for the average user such as your grandmother or someone. Operas customization abilities is probably the least out of all the Chromium based browsers definetley not for geeks. The new Opera was created with simplicity in mind and is it's main trait, since you cant change much in it, the average user such as your grandmother can't screw anything up

You can check in Desktop team's blog and their comments about the future development.
And what is there? One post a month, every time heavily criticized by users. What is most depressing is the lack of response from devs It's December already, so I guess nothing will change this year.

It is not a post per month, it is some posts per week.

Well the fact that the feature is present DON'T means that the people HAVE to use it ! Its that the real problem with the Opera dev team.

Correction. There is no problem with the developers' team. The problem lies with uneducated users who refuse to read their blogs and bring themselves up to date on what Opera has been doing for two years now and will continue to do. If you want to see some favorite feature put back into Opera, go over to the Suggestion Box and add it there... respectfully... not demanding and threatening and behaving like spoiled children. If you find the new browser does not meet your current needs, use Opera 12 and keep an eye of the new browser's development rather than rag on the developers' team. You did not pay for the browser. You did not sign any contracts for the browser. You were given free use of it along with free technical support and the company does not "owe" you anything... particularly if you make petulant demands.
