Opera 25 Poor Youtube Performance

Specs:
Opera 25.0.1614.50
Flash 15.0.0.189
Core i5 M-560
8GB RAM
250GB SSD
30/5 FibreI'm not sure if it's just the latest version of 25 that has this issue but lately Youtube performance is really in the toilet with Opera on my laptop. Firefox, IE11 and Chrome do NOT have these issues btw.
I'm getting frequent pauses for buffering on most videos and have big issues when jumping ahead or going back in videos. Sometimes skipping ahead yields the helpful Youtube message of "An Error Occurred".
Again there are NO issues with Youtube in every other browser on this pc.

Interesting I have had that "an error occurred" message show up on ALL my browsers
including Google Chrome and IE.I also think that over all it seems like 25 is slower to load all pages compared to the last version of 24.
Also version 25.0.1614.50 is having a lot of page crashes, I have never experienced this before with any other Opera version.

I'll just say that I'm using Opera because the 25 update works faster than FF. No performance issues. I recommend to switch in youtube to HTML5 player instead of the good ol' flash player http://youtube.com/html5 (you can switch back if dont like it). But I can't import my bookmarks from FF to Opera 25. Damn.. Same goes to synchronization.

Making the change to HTML5 eliminates buffering issues with Opera 25. However this creates a new issue, even when set to the highest quality videos are noticeably uglier than with flash (at least on this pc).

Update - New graphics drivers and enabling hardware acceleration in Opera have fixed the video quality issue with HTML5 video. (I had disabled hardware acceleration in Opera due to graphics driver crashes)

Good to know you found the solution. Might help others as well, and will give hints to Opera guys.
