      Just the quick question: how do I change my perceived "locale" for websites?
      I'm Brazilian and living in Brazil, but I want my Google searches to default to English websites and American websites.

      In old Opera (the Opera that was actually good, I have no freaking idea why Opera decided to turn itself into yet-another-generic-Chrome-clone), there was a handy Language setting that controlled this nicely.

      In this new Opera, I tried changing my languages settings, and even my country code in the .json files, but no good. Websites still show me Brazilian pages.

          And now a rant: why, Opera, why? Seriously.
          Opera was the one browser that actually had a high number of settings and features, while all other browsers had a mentality of stripping everything down, keeping everything simple and dumb.

          Now Opera is just the same as the others. It even has the same silly "jokes" that Chrome has. Seriously, interface labels should not be the place for silly texts - even less when it's a direct copy from the same silly jokes from another product.

            @lem729

            As I mentioned in my opening post, I did change the country code in the .json files.
            Weird that it should work, apparently. I'll see if isn't something else on my end.
