I have used Opera as my main browser since Opera 6, and as a regular paying user from Opera 2 or 3( not sure which as it was so long ago ). When Opera 6( may have been 6.5) was released i changed to opera as main browser because it now seemed to render web pages in a good manner, i used it ever since then, because i have liked the feature richness and how the layout have been and finally because it used its own rendering engine. With "all" browsers now uses the same rendering engine i believe this may make the web more "dangerous".
With this release Opera have decided to take one step to far for my taste when it comes to the user interface, guess Opera have its reasons, if the thought is that they want to be similar to the others, opera will lose. People wont switch to Opera because its similar to the others, they switch because of differences, now Opera alienate its old users and many will change.

Well I hope Opera fails and becomes broke to teach it a lesson.
I hope Opera gets bigger to teach you a lesson.

With what release? Opera 23. It doesn't change that much from Opera 22. Well, aren't you glad you got that off your chest, and that you're moving on. I'm happy to be with Opera, as they have a great browser.

@ivaroeines Why do you use Opera 23? Opera 12.17 is still available. There's no need to switch to less powerful version 23.
