Opera creating strange paths to files on the computer

I open a .png file from a sub-directory in Home. When I open it in Firefox, it shows the correct path:
file:///home/eric/Public/Bleak%20Midwinter/Cover/Cover%208%20christmas%20trees%20gold%20with%20seal.png
But when I open it in Opera, it shows this path:
file:///run/user/1000/doc/aMYybcqiqijkJvRuZfSoxg/Cover%208%20christmas%20trees%20gold%20with%20seal.png.
Where does that path come from? Why does Opera do that? And when I restart my computer and re-open Opera, it says it can't open the file.
I'm using FF 158.0(64 bit) and Opera One(version: 136.0.6008.80) on Fedora 44 workstation edition.

Are you using the RPM package or the snap package or the flatpak package of Opera?

@leocg To open the image in Opera, I right-click the file in "files" (nemo) and choose 'open with Opera.'
When I try to paste in the full path into the Opera search bar, to open inside Opera, it tells me:
Your file couldn’t be accessed It may have been moved, edited, or deleted. ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUNDPasting in the full path in Firefox works right.

@E-opera it might be sue to how Flatpak packages handle things. To test, try to see if it happens with the RPM package of Opera too or not.

@burnout426 I wondered if there was something about the directory the strange path points to, and I asked DuckDuckGo, "fedora what is the "/run/user/1000/doc" directory for"
I got this answer, which seems to clear things up:
"The /run/user/1000/doc directory is a portal that allows applications to access files outside of their sandbox in Fedora, particularly for applications installed via Flatpak. It is used to manage temporary file access for user applications."
However, it doesn't explain why Chromium and Opera can't reopen the file after the browser reopens. It remembers the path but can't open the image at that location. Presumably that's a feature (a "temporary" file) and not a bug. I'll have to trust Flatpak on that.
Thanks to all for your suggestions.
