I am trying to use the built-in VPN but according to multiple IP checking websites, I appear as through I am in Sweden no matter what. This goes for all of the available regions. I made sure my browser is fully updated and such. Any advice? Any known issues being worked on by the dev team?

@egosnitch You can check the several topics/posts already existing about it. Basically the sites are guessing your location wrongly.

@egosnitch - more information required, ES.
          Are you in Sweden?

Is the issue that you're not in Sweden and that the VPN won't change the country you emerge in?

@ardwych I am not in Sweden. I am in Germany. To the above person's point, I have tried at least 5 different IP Location websites including ones from other Opera forum posts where people said "that one is does not work. Use this one." Also, I cannot find other posts about this specific issue so if I'm missing something and anyone has a link, I'd appreciate that too.

If you’re looking for a way to use different IPs at the same time rather than having the whole browser switch to one VPN IP, IP Per Tab could be a good fit. It lets you assign different residential IPs to individual Chrome tabs, so each tab can have its own IP without affecting the others.
