Why are some people redeeming $1 while others got $0.50? Am having over 9k points and I used to get$1 but now it has reduced to $0.50?

Mine is $0.5 but I redeemed thrice at a stretch! That's a whooping $1.05
I don't know if it is just lick or a glitch but I am super excited because I have really used most of my earnings to purchase data and airtime.
