jarometn last edited byThe Speed dial icon in the URL area has disappeared. How can I add the current page to speed dial?

A Former User last edited by@jarometn: You can left click on the heart, and choose one of three options, as below: You can also disable new Heart menu (bring back old buttons): - Go to the address bar, and type "opera://flags/#heart-menu", and press enter,
- Select "Disabled" from the selectbox, and relaunch the Opera.

lem729 last edited byI see thay have added this, "Add page to Bookmarks Bar.". I was curious. When you add page to the bookmarks bar, does this Opera Next let you select a folder to put it in, or do you have to separately drag it to a folder?

A Former User last edited by@lem729: Yep, you're right Lem, it's not added yet, but perhaps it will be implemented later

jarometn last edited byThanks. That was unobvious to me. And yes, picking the folder is critical with a large bookmark list.

lem729 last edited by adminI posted as a wish-list type item the need for the basic browser to both make the bookmark, via a button/icon, and put it in the folder the user selects. https://forums.opera.com/topic/2074/home-button-and-bookmarks-button/7 We all know why Opera is slow to the dance. They didn't think that they would need to have a personal bookmarks bar (thinking that the Speed Dial and Stash would be enough). Well, they understand now it isn't enough -- that their public and prospective public demands for desktop computers adequate tradtional bookmarking -- and so they added the bar, but on follow-up refinements (like the actual bookmarking) they still need to play catch-up, because the competing browsers already have this type of feature.
