@denjohan I’ve noticed the checkbox ticking seems to be working now as well.
The thing I next need to figure out is the most recent post I made on opera’s use of resources over time and how to reclaim some of that safely.

@NC4Opera Still doesn't work on Android (version 87.7.4607.83311). BTW, the main reason for sticking to Opera is its word wrap function on Android, and I'd like to sync it with the Windows version. I haven't found any other Android browser that has word wrap upon zooming in a page.

I delete all browser extension and solved this problem for me, it was Mate translation now working again

@xAlbo26 I was trying to solve this issue for months. I did not think it can be caused by an extension. I removed the mate translation and now it is working. Thank you for your post.

I don't know if this will still be useful to anyone, but it started working again yesterday with several websites. I suggest trying again. My device (Galaxy Tab S9+) updated, so I don't know if that was the reason.

Nope, still doesn't work (June 2026). Since the issue hasn't been resolved in timely manner I am dumping opera for another browser. (with FF it works)

Same issue here, kept getting stuck on the Cloudflare loop trying to access my dumpster rental business website through Opera. Every other browser gets through fine but Opera just keeps cycling back to the checkbox. Switching the user agent to Chrome worked as a temporary fix but hopefully Opera sorts this out properly soon.
