btw , if yt refuses to work even after uninstalling this, check if u have operas builtin ad blocker on.

Oh, YouTube detected it and kept showing random error codes. I disabled uBlock, turned on OperaGX's built-in adblocker, and YouTube is ad-free again

for me its completely fine just reloading the page whenever it fails to load still takes less time than to wait through an ad

ce matin ça ne fonctionne plus
j'ai eu une mise à jour opera pendant la nuit et YT ne veut plus fonctionner.
ublock origin est désactivé,il n'y a que le bloqueur intégré à opera

il faudrait qu'on puisse revenir à la version précédente,ça fonctionnait avant la mise à jour.
sur mon smartphone j'ai opera,mais avec une version qui date de quelques mois et ça passe parfaitement YT sans pub et sans problème.

Since 2026-05-25 Youtube throws a blocking error when it detects none of its tracking requests to youtube.com/api/stats/qoe succeeded

After turning off the built il "Opera Ad blocker" (Settings > Privacy and security > "Block ads and surf the web up to three times fasterLearn more"). It seems to work for me. The Issue appears to be the built in add blocker instead of Ublock Origin.

For those who are using opera and having youtube says adblock is against their policy|
I unnistalled ublock and it still way giving me the error
I noticed the opera in built adblock was active, so i disabled
The video loaded again with ads
then i reinstalled ublock origin in this page and reloaded the video on youtube
then there was no ads anymore and everything is fine
If this fixes for you, please let me know, this was how it fixed for me

glad I am not the only one with errors , I am late to the crying party (somehow I got forggoten had many extensions, uninstalled all of them including ublock origin, then the hell got lose)

TRY USING BRAVE BROWSER ALL THESE PROBLEMS STOPPED AFTER 2 DAYS WHEN THERE WAS AN UPDATE , SO FAR SO GOOD

Why is the Opera version always behind the versions for other browsers? The update is late by over two months.
