Hello! I would like to suggest adding YouTube's "Like" and "Dislike" buttons directly to the floating video window (Picture-in-Picture / Video Popout). Currently, we can control playback, volume, and progress, but to interact with the creator by liking or disliking the video, we have to go back to the main YouTube tab. Having these buttons right on the floating window would make multitasking much more dynamic and improve user interaction with YouTube content. Thank you!

@k155uc4 The controls in video pop-out are independent of the page.

@leocg Thanks for the reply! I know the current PiP just mirrors the video element, but since Chromium now supports the Document Picture-in-Picture API, it’s actually possible to load HTML elements and custom buttons inside the floating window. Extensions like DualPiP or SuperPiP are already doing stuff like this to add custom controls, custom panels, and subtitles directly to the window. Since GX is all about multitasking and features for power users, having native tools for YouTube inside the PiP — like likes, live chat, or even proper subtitles support — would be an amazing feature and a huge advantage over other browsers.

@k155uc4 OK, but people usually use the video pop out for those videos that they don't need or don't want to interact with.
If you have to interact with the video, you can use split screen.

@leocg I see your point, but for a gaming browser like GX, split screen isn't always the best solution. A lot of users play games in fullscreen and keep the video pop-out floating over the game or on a second monitor while playing. Going back to the browser or splitting screens completely breaks the immersion and the gameplay flow just to leave a quick like. Also, adding these optional controls wouldn't hurt the people who just want to watch passively, but it would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for anyone who wants to quickly interact with creators without leaving their game.
