With Opera Dev it doesn't work. The icon does not even appear in the toolbar, to be fixed.

When I try to go to "Google" in the page sidebar, this message appears: "www.google.com is blocked
Connection denied by www.google.com.ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE."
What can I do?

@Marul79
Check in the Opera://extensions page, and see if you enable the checkbox permission to allow extensions on search pages (such as Google, Bing, etc).For help or questions, use the official support at https://www.stefanvd.net/support -> email support.

I would really porefer a format more similar to the Edge side panel.
Unfortunately MS will remove personalized apps in the sidebar that has been my main reason to use Edge, and I was in search for anothe browser with similar functionality.
Edge solution for apps in the sidebar is maybe less open to customization but more elegant in the UX -
