        If you're one Windows:

Close both Opera GX and regular Opera.

Then, open up Windows Explorer (File Explorer), click "View", goto "Show" and enable both file extensions and hidden items.

Then, in both "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software", delete the "Opera GX Stable" folder if it's there. Then, right-click on the "Opera Stable" folder, choose "Copy", right-click in a blank spot in the "Opera Software" folder and choose "Paste". Then, right-click the "Opera Stable - Copy" folder, choose "rename" and rename it to "Opera GX Stable".

If you're on macOS, in "/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support", you should be able to delete the "com.operasoftware.OperaGX" folder if it's there, copy the "com.operasoftware.Opera" folder, paste a copy and rename the copy to "com.operasoftware.OperaGX".

If you're on Linux, you should be able to do the same type of thing in ~/.config with the Opera folders.

Then, if everything goes fine, your Opera GX will have everything your regular Opera had.

Note though that Opera GX uses more resources than regular Opera, because it has a lot more features. So, it's likely to be the same or slower than regular Opera.

@Reakeryt-OP You use Windows Explorer or whatever file explorer you use.

@Reakeryt-OP Probably. But, it won't hurt to try Opera GX so you can see for yourself if you like it. It uses a different install location and a different profile location (as shown above), so you can test it out first without interfering with your regular Opera. You can also just make a standalone installation to a folder named "Opera GX Test" on your desktop to try Opera GX and then delete the folder when you're done testing. That also won't interfere with your regular Opera.

@Reakeryt-OP Try a test standalone installation of regular Opera to a folder named “Opera Test” on you desktop. Is everything fast there?
