@chachaayy Thank you for testing this bug. Yes, indeed, only if you have more than 5 tabs in an island the bug is present.
@krteq Yes, this bug is visible on non-island tabs, if you have several numbers of tabs, its a bug easily to reproduce.
One shot, two ducks: if you reproduce this bug on an island, when you click on the last tab, you will reproduce this bug too: https://forums.opera.com/topic/86983/new-island-tab-button-is-not-dissapearing/10

No, this bug was not present in 127.

Hi, yes, I updated my Opera browser to 129, and this buggy bug has disappeared, but the tabs are still under construction: this bug is un-resolved:https://forums.opera.com/topic/86983/new-island-tab-button-is-not-dissapearing
And sometimes, some tabs remains selected ... I don't know why ... I wonder if I should raise another post here ...

From what I understand, you are facing this problem since version 123.

Yes, correct, this bug is pretty old (since version 123, now I see this bug on version 129).
