Typing amazon.com into address bar is searching DuckDuckGo rather than loading Amazon's website

Opera One v126.0.5750.117
This started within the last few days but I can't pinpoint an exact start. When I type "amazon.com" into my address bar, the browser is only giving me an option to search this phrase rather than navigate to the site. Why would the browser do anything but allow me to navigate to a site if I type a domain name here? Isn't that logical?

@nelliott500 It usually happens when something is typed incorrectly, like an extra space, use , (comma) instead of . (point), etc.

Welcome @nelliott500 , seems like you navigated using keyboard arrow to the search list items! (see the example below for clear user experience)
Using suggestion 1 go directly to Amazon website as you want but clicking other suggestions give the use case you meet.
