impossible to use or reinstall opera

Today when I opened Opera, it shutted after a few seconds and kept doing even after I rebooted my computer.

I then tried to reinstall and the same thing happened.

I uninstalled it completely and tried to install it again. Same thing happened.

I tried opera portable and could not make it work either.

I am stuck here.

Could a good Samaritan help me please ?

@leocg I don't know but I just tried "Opera_126.0.5750.59_Setup_x64" and it does the same as before.

Try a test standalone installation with that installer to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop.

Same issue? If so, do you get any errors when that test Opera tries to start up?

Any difference if you try to start Opera in safe mode?

@Francorum , did you try running Opera as an administrator once?

• Find the Opera shortcut (on your desktop or in the Start Menu).
• Right-click on it.
• Select "Run as administrator".
