Well, i'm not a Sir but Madam, but i will friendly answer you.
All accounts were closed at March 2014 after this months before my mail and on my.opera.com.You can find some entries on Internet Archive at http://web.archive.org/web/20120517183739/http://my.opera.com/ngofa25/blog/
But i think most of your blog is lost.

I'm afraid i was also unaware of any changes, and that our blogs would just be taken down... Is there nothing you can do?

Well, actually, you have your account - but the service MyOpera is that which is not active any more.
