Somethign I've been struggling for months now is that whenever a program redirects to opera (let's say, a game with a link that opens your browser), opera gx's sidebar gets messed up, and if i close it and reopen it, it resets to default settings. I thought this was a RAM issue, but I just upgraded my RAM and it still happens. Is this some corruption thing and is it fixable?
Every time this happens, the whole browser's settings, background, shortcuts, tabs, is deleted and I need to restore everything with Opera Sync. This also won't happen if it is me who manually opens OperaGX, just if the app redirect you to it automatically.

This is not a RAM issue, and you’re not imagining it, what you’re describing is a known class of Opera GX profile-corruption / launch-context bug, triggered specifically when Opera GX is opened via an external redirect instead of a normal user launch.
