Can't type a message on WhatsApp

Whenever I'm typing a message in WhatsApp (which is in the sidebar) and someone sends me a message in another WhatsApp message window, my typing stops and I have to click the WhatsApp typing bar again to finish my message.

The problem is that my WhatsApp is constantly receiving messages and I can't type anything.

@leocg I’m using Opera GX and WhatsApp is opened in the GX sidebar (integrated messenger). While I’m typing a message, if a new message arrives in another WhatsApp chat, the text input loses focus and typing stops—I have to click the message box again. This happens constantly because I receive many messages.

@Adilbastos OK, so if you are typing a message to person A and you get a message from person B, you can't continue typing the message to person A, that's it?
