add option to allow to scroll through tabs rather than have them be squished as you open more tabs. I belive this would be an improvement for those work on large projects which require mutliple tabs at once as squishing makes tabs hard to click on and read the tab name. would also be an improvement for those who work in split screen such as myself as the tabs are squashed even more when put in split screen with another program such as Word.

There's the "Scrollable tab strip" flag at the URL opera://flags/#scrollable-tab-strip. If enabled, there will be an "Enable tab scrolling when many tabs are open" option at the URL opera://settings/userInterface that you can enable. If you open enough tabs, you'll see a skinny scrollbar above all the tabs that you can left-click, hold and drag. Or, you can use the mouse wheel (if the tab tooltips don't get in the way).

However, the feature is kind of buggy. If you're using Opera GX, it might even cause Opera to crash when you enable the setting.

Another downside is that it doesn't prevent tab-width shrinkage, so it's not really what you want. But, you can try it out to see if you like it.
