Only passwords disappeared! Other datas stayed, what happened?

Good morning,

I am having problem with my browser today. I have all my data except for my passwords.

I have my addresses, my payment methods, my sidebar and favorites - even if almost everything collapsed in the first group. Why?!

Anyway, what I am worried about are all my passwords... I entered a page of sync where it asked me a passphrase which I never had and I have clearly seen the saved passwords, all of them! I cannot access that page anymore! Are my passwords somewhere I can find them?

What happened?! How can I have them back?

Please, could you help? I would appreciate it.

I had to reset the passphrase and I guess I lost everything. Because they disappear in the Sync page.
I was able to download a .cvs of a google chrome browser and insert them here. I have half of the passwords and most of the ancient (since I've been using Opera for 5 years) but at least I have something.

@mechitiz Yes, to reset the passphrase your synced data needs to be removed from the server,

@leocg unfortunately this time it went this way. But why it happened? I am afraid it could happen a second time. Could really be an "update" the cause of this loss? It sound strange.

The best way for now would be to export once in a while a .cvs file or are there better options?

@mechitiz Why what happened exactly? If you are talking about the passwords being lost, it could be a corrupted file and/or profile directory for example.

@mechitiz Use Sync and export your passwords once in a while. Since it is exported without encryption, better to save the csv file in a secure place.

@mechitiz I mean that the file where the passwords are stored may have been corrupted.
