Aria is Really Laggy

The Aria AI is really laggy for me during use, sometimes even lagging things going on in the background, it lags when you type, it lags when you scroll and navigate, and i only have one chat open, I'm not even doing anything else, i'm just writing in google docs with less than 500 words, not even listening to music, and no other apps are open except for discord

@Droplets21 Same here. It used to work fine up until a month ago. Now it's as you describe.

Same thing is happening to me for about last two months. It used to work good, now it's almost impossible to use. The input takes forever, like I'm using a really really old PC (which i'm not) and if the answer is too long I can't seem tos croll up to read everything as it constantly takes me back to the bottom.

It sounds like the lag youโre experiencing with Aria AI could be due to high CPU or memory usage in your browser, even if you only have a few tabs open. Sometimes AI tools can run heavy scripts in the background that impact typing, scrolling, and other tasks, especially if your device has limited RAM or an older processor. Closing unnecessary browser extensions, restarting your browser, or trying a different one might help. You could also restart your device to free up resources and check if your system performance improves.

@TiffanyAbbott None of that works. It's really a browser/Aria problem.
Here: Top end PC, Aria still takes 4 seconds to receive the input and do something at any input, even with no tabs open. I restart my pc everyday. Its really a problem on Opera's side. -

@TiffanyAbbott Same thing as MiniOlympia (top end PC, no issues until last month more or less). Right now I'm using about 1% cpu and 5% ram with multiple tabs and workspaces open, my PC has more resources than needed to run an AI on a tab and still navigate
Even if I run an empty opera instance, Aria is still laggy.
Anyway, guess i'm switching to another AI if there's no solution -

Aria keeps slowing down but I have found the fix (its a memory problem in the Opera browser Aria chat history) so the fix was as easy as deleting the chat history and wham, bam, thank you mam, it was back to full speed!
This is a problem with memory management in Aria Ai chat history and need a remedie please but until then either delete chat history more regualry or incognito mode where its not recorded maybe...
Ill look for a fix myself because Im curious but as I have 8/16 CPU 32gb and 1tb nVme, Its a OPERA Aria problem and not my machine as this happens on all my laptops that run aria and the desktop is a beast and it suffers just the same, with the same fix for now...
