notification not working in the sidebar apps

hello you have addred the slack in the sidebar and i'm facing issue regarding notifications i think there is problem with notifications for the side bar apps, i have tried hard to enable notifications but there is no red dot or notificaiotn in the notification panel of windows please resolve this issue becuse without that it is useless
