Annoying window in top right corner of browser

This has only just appeared in last day or so. It does not show up in a screen shot so I photographed it. It blocks my access to any controls in top left of screen. I have to reduce size of window to get at those controls.

It has emojis across the top, + Sign, - 2nd row 'Speed Dial - 3rd row opera://startpageshared.
There is no effect from clicking any of these things.
BTW I have no way to find out my version of Opera.

@SueBoyde The emojis you can disable in settings. Check user interface section.

I had the same issue recently and it was really frustrating
To remove the window in the top corner go to Settings then Advanced then User Interface
There should be an option like Show emoji button or similar
Turn that off and it should disappear
It seems to be part of a recent update
