OS: Windows 11 Home version 24H2 build 26100.3194
Opera version: Opera One version: 117.0.5408.53
Opera notifications are appearing, but when I click on any of them, a new browser window opens to the default page. It does not display the content that triggered the notification.

@robertjamesftw Yup! Happening here too with Gmail, Whatsapp web, Google Tasks, Google Messages, Google Calendar and Todoist.

Windows 11 Pro
Opera 117.0.5408.53Few days ago Opera started opening new empty window on clicking any notification, instead of redirecting me to the relevant tab.
Tried disabling all extensions, restarting PC, deleting websites data — nothing worked.
Any way to fix that without reinstalling Opera or resetting it to default?

@Nicholas-shaw Two updates so far, to 93 and then to 142 and still not fixed.

@Nicholas-shaw I've heard nothing in response to the BUG ticket, either.
After assessing the state of affairs in modern browsers, I decided to move off Opera, and am currently using Brave.

When you receive a new email in Gmail in Opera, a notification is displayed in the Windows 11 notification center.
- Previously, clicking on the notification opened Gmail in Opera directly.
- Now, clicking on the notification opens a "new tab" in Opera.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?
