Bookmark Tool-bar Not Functioning Properly?

I can't access all of my bookmarks. I click on the double arrows on the right end of the bookmarks toolbar and the browser freezes for 15-20 seconds. On other browsers clicking those double arrows gets a drop down with more bookmarks. I figure Opera would do the same. I miss the sidebar of Opera 12; please bring it back!
I am using Opera 20.0.1387.91

Absolutely what you say. When you click the arrows at the end, you should get the additional bookmarks, Not sure why you don't. Maybe something wrong with the install, but I'm just not sure. I click on the arrows, and easily get the drop down.
As for workarounds with the extensions, Chrookmarks for Chrome which I use, or Tidy bookmarks for Chrome, which I have used, you get a vetrtical display of all your bookmarks by clicking on the extension icon.
You might want to try one of them, in the Chrome extensions store. To use a Chrome extension, you need the Opera extension, "Download Chrome Extension." Good luck.A good bookmarks manager extension, is useful regardless, so I'm passing this workaround idea along to you. And for sure, it's easy to uninstall the extension if you don't like it.
