[Duplicated]Passwords wiped

I opened Opera today & got a message saying it had auto-updated. I went to log into a website which I expected to have a saved password associated with it but it didn't. I checked my saved passwords & they're all gone. There are 3 new ones which I created over the past couple of days, but I had 100s of others before. What's happened & how can I get them back?
Thanks,

Can anyone help with this? It's pretty catastrophic for me. I don't want to use Opera to collect a hundred password again if they'll just get lost at some point.

@adamr7747 The only way is by going to https://www.sync.opera.com/

@adamr7747 Then your passwords weren't synced or they were removed from Sync servers.

How would that happen? I have Opera on my android phone as well and have had the passwords syncing for years. Unless I can work that out I don't know how to stop it again. I'm assuming there's no hope of getting them back Looks like I might have to switch to Chrome after all these years with Opera

@adamr7747 Check if you are using the correct Opera account. Also recheck if passwords synchronization is enabled and working.

@leocg Ah! My phone is showing 544 saved passwords. Yay! Bizaarely it's showing me as "Guest" though. The way I use a browser means almost every password is initially entered on my laptop. So somehow the passwords synced over to my phone from the laptop, then got deleted on my laptop & the passwords on my phone got associated with a guest account.
What happens if I log in again on my phone? Will the 544 get deleted because they don't exist in my proper account?

@adamr7747 If the passwords are stored locally, if you login to Sync they will be synced to your Opera account.
