What on earth am i looking at right now. Last time i checked I was using Opera GX browser now im piloting an X-Wing. Delete this stupid layout!

Via Settings, Enable Widgets (opera://settings/widgets_settings)
Open the speed dial
Open the widgets menu on the speed dial (its at the top right)
There should be a bar on the top asking feedback about the new UI
Next it it, click on the back button
There will a prompt, optionally give feedback
Click on revert and restart
Let the browser restart with the old UI

As of [CORE: 115.0.5322.124 ] this update to Opera GX I hate the way the new tabs look and how to close the tabs also, i want a way to either revert this change to the previous update or find a mod that can do it for me, in my opinion, they just look horrible and with how many tabs i keep open the old tab look and function just worked better for me.

Picture-in-picture now have the corners rounded up, it may be nice depending on how you use it or place it, but I usually place it aligning corners with the UI of discord on the second monitor, so it having the corners rounded up feels bad for me, would love to have an option to have it with the corners as it was.

It used to be so easy, even if I had a hundred tabs in one window I could still hover over them and see what they were, with enough space to click on them. Now it's like barcode at the top of my screen and I keep dragging the tabs off when I'm trying to drag the window because there's no empty space. god damn it. It was perfectly fine. why did you have to ruin it. Jesus Christ. nothing should be this difficult.

What on earth have they done to Opera GX? I already abandoned Opera because it became unbearably bloated and slow. Now, the latest update for Opera GX is an absolute disaster. It’s overloaded with unnecessary clutter, and ever since this update, websites have started crashing constantly. To make things worse, you’re forced to accept these intrusive changes. I would’ve gladly stayed with the previous version instead of dealing with this mess they’ve created. As someone who relies heavily on my PC, even for work, it’s beyond frustrating to keep switching browsers. I’m already on the hunt for a new one that actually meets my needs, but after everything I’ve been through with Opera, it’s just utterly disheartening

Unfortunately this is an old post but by the love of god why do you try to change shit that works? This only drives people away from your product. The new design is horrid, everything from the tabs to the new settings bar. Did you not learn from Windows, YouTube, Reddit to name a few? Nobody likes new designs that are just trying to be more modern.

I revert it to the old one, but if they force to change it again i will just delete opera gx and use another browser
