Opera GX Synchronization from Opera account

Hey, i formatted my computer and upgraded Windows 10 -> Windows 11 at the same time. After installing Opera GX and trying to turn on sync for bookmarks, passwords, settings, etc i get a 404 error (page not found).

Doing everything like im supposed to by forums by going to Opera GX settings, finding synchronization options and pressing 'Sign in'. It takes me to https://auth.opera.com/account/v2/desktop/login which seems right, but like said, 404.

I logged into my opera account and long behold everything is there but i just cant figure out why i cannot connect to synchronization authentication page.

@Idiootti Make sure are using the most recent version of Opera GX, which is 115.

@leocg hey thanks! didnt even pop to my mind that it could cause it as i downloaded what i thought was the latest version from windows store.

This was the solution i needed! thanks for assist @leocg !
