      OperaOne: Opera One (version: 115.0.5322.109)
      Update stream: Stable
      System: Windows 11 64-bit - Win11 242H
      Chromium version:130.0.6723.160
      Multiple Clean installs
      14900K
      128GB RAM
      ASUS Maximus Z790

I've been experiencing tab-crashes consistently in Opera One. Additionally, crashes like these occur in All the Chromium-based browsers I run. In the other browsers this crash always and without fail, points to "chrome.dll. In Opera One, someone smart inserted a breakpoint into "opera_browser.dll." This is the reason I posted in the Opera forum rather than the Brave or MS Tech community.

      1. Issue Pattern
      • Affects multiple Chromium-based browsers (Opera, Edge, Brave)
      • Initial crash occurs during normal browsing in a tab
      • Followed by cascading crashes during reload attempts
      • All browsers show identical failure patterns
      1. Technical Characteristics
      • Primary crash type: Invalid pointer reads (0xc0000005)
      • Secondary crash type: Breakpoint exceptions (0x80000003)
      • All crashes occur in IsSandboxedProcess functionality
      • Similar instruction patterns across browsers
      • Consistent memory access violation patterns
      1. Supporting Evidence
      • Multiple crash dumps showing identical patterns
      • Cross-browser consistency in failure locations
      • Crash reporting metadata showing sequences of related crashes
      • Process lifetime data showing both immediate and delayed crashes
      • Similar memory access patterns across different browser versions
      1. Key Identifiers
      • Edge failure hash: {1de79a31-3d7a-e184-4c3e-ac4161e2f4fd}
      • Opera breakpoint hash: {f0d1d3ce-6880-bada-875c-1d728e7d6932}
      • All occur in IsSandboxedProcess code paths
      • Affects multiple Chromium versions

However, some smart developer inserted a "breakpoint" and most of the tab crashes occur just like this one:

I've been dealing with this issues across all Chromium browsers for about 3 months.

I know that I have over 120 dmp files from all three related browsers, Brave, Opera and even MS Edge.

I'm not a developer, but rather an IAM engineer, so this is outside of my wheelhouse. Is anyone else experiencing these? I can run additional debug analysis if needed.

      Thanks,
      Steve (TheFNGee)

@TheFNGee A crash report is generated in opera://crashes?

@leocg Yes indeed. The dmp that's included in the post is from the Win debugger output of the dmp file.

I have about 40 of these from Opera and another hundred or so from Brave and Edge.

@TheFNGee Click on the button to add more details, include the steps to reproduce the crash and send a report, so that people at Opera can check and fix it if it's an Opera issue.

@leocg The crashes are just random. I'm browsing or interacting with a page and it just drops to an error message teling me the tab has crashed. It's tabs only - I don't think it's ever crashed the master Opera/Brave/Edge "container".

I gather up some of the 15 dmp files generated on 12/28 and post
