@leocg My dear friend, why are you here then? Can't you help me? It's really simple. I did what I've been doing for years, which is synchronization. When I logged in afterwards, all my data was lost. Can't I get my data back? I've been really sad for days. I lost everything.

@beyefendithresh Hasn't anyone encountered this before? I can't be the first. There must be a solution to this. @leocg

@beyefendithresh If there's nothing on sync.opera.com and you don't have a backup, then your data is gone.

@avij12 If you don't remember the passphrase, you will need to reset it in sync.opera.com. And for that, your synced data needs to be removed from the server.

@beyefendithresh, this just happened to me and I'm losing my mind.
sync.opera.com still has backups from my opera mobile app, but has nothing from my PC even though I took my time to actually synchronize it.
All my history, bookmarks, passwords, everything is gone. -

"I understand how frustrating that must be! If you synced your Opera data before formatting, it should have been saved in the cloud. Here are a few things to try:
Check Opera Sync Settings: Go to Settings > Synchronization and confirm that you’re logged into the same Opera account.
Try Syncing Again: Sometimes it takes a bit for data to sync properly after a fresh installation. Make sure your internet connection is stable and try syncing again.
Check Opera’s Sync Server: If the data still isn't syncing, check if there’s any issue with Opera’s servers or outages that might affect sync functionality.
Opera Support: If all else fails, contact Opera’s support team with your account details to see if they can restore your data.
Hopefully, they can help you recover your information!"
