Opera portable - lost passwords

I worked with Opera portable (saved under “Downloads”, Version: 114.0.5282.94) and created some accounts. The Opera browser automatically saved the associated email addresses and passwords.
Then Windows 11 (24H2) crashed and I had to restart windows and the browser...
Unfortunately after restart, Opera portable now no longer displays the access data (user name and password) for the accounts I created.
Is there any way to restore this information?
Opera portable has created the following folders:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Default
C:\Users\Username\Downloads\profile\dataThank you for your advice!

@Martens263 ou just restarted you computer? Or by restart you mean that you had to reset them?
If it was the second situation, that's the expected behaviour, since saved passwords are encrypted using the OS login credentials and can't be use in a different OS installation or by a different user.

@Martens263 The restart itself shouldn't have caused issues. Maybe the crash is related to it?
What happens when you try to see a password?

Opera was an open task when Windows crashed.
I am a little bit confused... there are two opera.exe files:
- One is in the download-folder,
- the other one in a folder within the download-folder, its name is "114.0.5282.94".
But the password managers in both Opera-Versions are empty...

@Martens263 That's normal, the one under the main directory is a copy of the one in the ' version number" folder.

@Martens263 Maybe the Login Data file got corrupted with the crash.

@Martens263 You can try opening it in a database editor and see if you can export the data

@Martens263 In the profile directory, all your Opera related data is there.
It's valid for any Chromium based browser.
Check opera://about for the path to it.

@leocg I've found it two minutes ago and opened it with the windows editor. I can see the usernames now, but not the passwords (they are encrypted?)

@Martens263 Yep, that will be a problem.
What happens if you try to export passwords in Opera?

@leocg Strange, there are two files with the name "login data":
- one file is in "C:\Users\Username\Downloads\profile"
- the other one is "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable"
How can I export passwords in the Opera settings? I think there is no such option because the settings say that there are no passwords.

@leocg Finally I was able to get my data with a script (hack-browser-data). But thanks for your advice!
