video pop-out not working

So I have the pop-out set to automatically pop out, but it suddenly stopped doing it out of no where. I have no idea how to fix it, the settings say it's set to do it automatically, I can still click the thing to make it transparent and turn that setting off, but the automatic setting seems broken.

I confirm, automatic video pop-ups on sites where possible have stopped working since version 113.0.5230.75

Hi.
This is what's happening to me right now:
I play a video, and the pop up will show up.
Then, I return to the video and go back to my work page or whatnot. Then it is not automatically poping up.
I've found that sometimes reloading or closing/reopening works but haven't found a solution (yet)

Hovering over the video tab doesn't work either, just a black rectangle appears, no image.

same issue here. i really hope it gets fixed sometime soon because its a feature i use frequently when drawing or working.

I have the same issue, but only on the older device... I don't get pop up videos in Opera GX on my old laptop (Win10, i7-6700HQ 2.60GHz, 8GB RAM, GeForce GTX 960M), but on my newer PC (Win11, AMD Ryzen 5 5600, 16GB RAM, GeForce RTX 3050) everything works no problem. Is this feature no longer supported on older devices? If yes, users should be notified in some way beforehand...

@Cattsy, Now back to the previous version 112.0.5197.115 and the video popups work again. I put again 113.0.5230.75 and the video popups don't work. On the same Windos, with the same updates.

@Cattsy So I just got prompted for an update to Opera adn the automatic pop-out is back, so I assume it was just that one version was bugged like @meiso-op said. (I do not know how to find out what version I'm on, sorry. I just got an update for the browser today adn the automatic pop-out worked as soon as Opera reloaded.)

@Indigo-Villin That's right, a new version was released today (17-Sep-2024) - 113.0.5230.108. The bug has been fixed in it. Very promptly, bravo Opera support!

I have opera 114.0.5282.144 update and video pop up still not work, only black screen..

I download the latest opera gx and with that the video pop p works. And you can sync for personal data too.
